Non-Traditional Office Furniture Seating Designs Spread to China
When designing a chair, the general rule is that the seat should provide more surface area than your ass. However, we've seen plenty of designs bucking this trend over the years.
Like the stacking Sitzbock Pommel Horse : Steelcase's nesting Flex Perch stool: Estudio Sancal's folding Perigallo : Konstantin Grcic's THING_01 : ID firm Pearson Lloyd's " Café Classroom :" Now Chinese furniture manufacturer Beite is getting in on the action. Their Kylinc system borrows pretty liberally from Pearson Lloyd's designs, and adds—unwisely, I think—power.
I think the power's not a great idea because the cords detract from the flexibility of the pieces. The fact that these have wheels suggests they're meant to be mobile, i.e.
