The Yarbo Autonomous Snow Blower
A Chinese robotics company called Yarbo makes something like a Roomba for outdoor work. Their name is a portmanteau for "yard robot," and their Yarbo Core, a tracked robot, accepts different seasonal attachments: An aerator, a mower, a leafblower and a snowblower.
Given recent weather, it's the snowblower attachment that most caught our eye. So how well can it tackle a large, sprawling driveway?
According to this news report, surprisingly well: The homeowner in the video, by the way, is EV content creator Tom Moloughney. The tech-savvy Moloughney points out that it took him 30 hours to set the robot up to perform the task, and stresses this is not a straight-out-of-the-box solution.
